What is Neo Noir?: Watchmen (2009)

Since it's Rorschach who seems to be asking the question, we'll begin with the strange masterpiece-that-could-have-been that Zack Snyder somehow managed to ruin with a hackish sensibility he could not quite restrain. Close, but not quite. But "close" in a movie that could have been DC comics Dark Knight is a bit of tragedy for those of us who grew up as DC fans (but still love the Marvell movies).

One of the best things Snyder choose to do in the movie was use Philip Glass's music from Koyaanisqatsi in the sequence where Doctor Manhattan tells his story.

And since yesterday we did nudity, her you go: Manhattan junk
